Need radiator repaired

2004 GTO needs radiator repaired. It looks like the plastic side tank where it meets the metal radiator is leaking. I don't see any crack. It looks like it can be re-sealed.

Need it fixed and pressure tested.

Will pay cash.

PM me if intersted.

Thats why mine failed. GM used crimps to seal the plastic tank to the metal radiator part. They tent to fail after fender benders. Its common and easily fixable. I just don't know how to do it and can't pressure test it either.

my rad did that not once but 3 times. the crimps came undone. All the rads where Brand new in the box. i looked into geting it resealed and found it to be cheaper to just get a new one.

From what I've seen, rad shops will do it for about $100 or less. I just don't have a job so $100 is alot right now. A new one with discount is $480 from GM. See: http://www.gmpartshouseusa.com/partl...layCatalogid=0

It's only a temp thing right now for a special project. I was out of work for almost 3 months before that.

+1. No sense in replacing something with a time bomb. Look into some aftermarket replacements.

There are the eBay specials and like 1 afermarket one I found. It was a brand I never heard of. Don't wanan drop money on a POS one. I'm gonna use the plyers idea like you said and epoxy the **** out of it. Hopefully I will get lucky.
