Whats wrong Why wont the Z32 sell?

OK so about a month ago i decided that i want to sell my 1990 300zx N/A auto. And im just curious why it wont sell i first had it up for sale at 3,400 now im down to 2600. I just bought a 2000 audi a4 for 2200 and need the money to pay off my dad and i need to sell my car quick (pictures of the Audi are comming soon its nice) but back on topic the z is a head turner it has t-tops good paint drives great can still take off ramps at like 75 with no problems but it does have 265,000 miles on the body and about 100,000 on the body and trans. i just dont see what im doing wrong i ran it on ebay its been all over craigs list any one have any ideas?

I see your problem, it has 265,000 on the body, N/A, and auto.

put it on ebay starting at $100 and set a low reasonable reserve

265k miles, n/a, auto, and nobody is buying cars right now. As much as I hate to bring it up like everyone else always does, the economy is making it hard right now. GL with selling it though!

x2. on the head... still, i'm surpised u didn't get any offers at those asking prices.

I think it might come down to 240sx > 300zx in the eyes of enthusiasts these days. Just so many more options for 240s.

and the NA and auto really don't help...

Well first, it's the slowest 300ZX available. Second; As many people said above, the mileage on the chassis is very high -- regardless of the motor/trans mileage. Sell it for something around $1500-$2000 and I'm sure someone will scoop it up right away..
