The story:

I bought my 1990 Nissan 300ZX TT in September of '07 with damage to the front from a deer running out on the previous owner. It had about 136k on it.

Shortly after that, it went into the body shop for a full respray in addition to a new front end. After about 5 weeks of being in the shop, here is what came out:

In the next few months some more changes to the outside including wheels and JDM tails.

AsianGuyWithACamera opted to take a professional photo shoot of the car, and the pics turned out beautiful. If you have a car that's worthy, I'd recommend contacting him and scheduling a shoot. Not only are his pictures outstanding, he really puts the effort into editing them and making them look as perfect as they can be.

A couple months later, I graced the cover with a little picture of my Z.

Here's how she sits today (as of about a month ago). A lot of power mods were added, but I'm still plagued by my safety boost issue. I'm limited to 6-7PSI, but found a way to bypass with an EBC and install a knock sensor light in my dash..

Look under the "SSA" in Nissan. I'm about 3 cars down.

Update: More recent picture -- SRT in the back, Z in the middle, 250 beater up front.

Just installed an Apexi AVC-R EBC, and raised boost to 1 bar. Car feels quick, but not fast enough. On top of that, I'm having a hesitation problem. I'm pressure-testing the intake manually to search for leaks.

The car is also feels like it's misfiring slightly, so the coils are next on the checklist.

Brand new leather seats with an embroidered "Z" logo should be in on Tuesday. More updates to come shortly..
