man i get a text message on my phone and it was from my wife said
"call me ASAP!"
i said o no this can't be good. she went to the doctor and they put a test machine on her. and she started having contractions! She is only 33 weeks into the whole thing and they had her really scared. i left work and got to the hospital in 21 mins! She was in there from 130pm until 9pm i was scared! the thing is the doctor explained it to me and showed me how to read the numbers on the machine. they told us that the baseline is 20 for the contraction reading and she was reading at 25 and the top of the scale was 100 so we didn't understand why they told her she was in labor. she said she didn't feel a thing! so it was pretty funny but then the doctor came back in. and he pulled out some tool and i looked at the pain on her face and i felt so bad! i went to hold her hand and the doctor told her she is going to have to stay and wait for the results. 4 hours later they came back in and told us she was fine and she was ready to go home. Man i was so scared! seeing her in pain like that really hurt! and knowing that she is pretty much 8 weeks early the concern on her face mad me so sad but i had to stay strong! i rubbed her head and told her to close her eyes and breathe with me and i started to make her feel like she was relaxing at a spa and it seemed to work. Man all i can say is i was scared! but i am glad she is home next to me safe and happy! i hope no one has to go though that!

LOL @ I can tell how concerned/relieved you were by the context of the post.

Thats good everything is fine though, I can't even imagine being in that situation.

dude i am still shaking right now i am almost in tears just thinking about her pain and the look on her face really hit me hard i felt it in my bones!

i'm glad everything is ok with the wife and the baby. i know when i get someone pregnant i'm going to worry about every possibe thing that could go wong with the pregnancy.

thanks guys i think i am just going to go to bed because i know i am going to be thinking about it all night so if i go to bed now i will be able to fall asleep by at least 12! i will keep everyone updated!

well the wife had a good day today she stayed resting everyone came to see her and she had a nice relaxing day! so she i doing good and she feels great!

haha dude your lucky! the wifey has been out since may her due date is sept 1. She has contractions all the time. Weve been to the hospital multiple time shes on. My daughter was born at 35. This ones going at 35 probably too. They probably did the test to see if she was going into labor anytime soon. Your wife will be in a lot more pain.. Did they give her anything to stop contactions? Hospital chairs for the dads suck.
