SO i just finished rebuilding my old gt. I can barely ride this the wheels go flat. I just got new tubes and they are fully inflated. The tires are beat they are showing all the threading in the side walls the rims on the bike are the "stock" ones. any sort of hard turn or jump runs it into the rim.

I am over 200lbs so is there any suggestions on a better rim/ tire . I have very limited money. would just nice newer tires do the trick or should look at rims also?

truthfully, ANY tire you get will be better than what you currently have lol.

but since i'm biased, specialized has a decent bmx 20" road tire for $20.

bmx tires really arent that expensive, and you can even get deals on double/triple wall rims if you look for sales on dans/staff/etc. Just watch weights.

some jitbag stole my ****ing powerlite off my porche. if anyone sees a beat up silver powerlite around chester springs let me know

Yea man just pick up some new tires with a higher max psi. i'm about 200 and I run 100 psi in the back and 80 in the front works good for me. If you still have problems look into new rims.

I'm selling some wheels off this sweet Powerlite I just picked up recently.

If you have issues with puncturing the tubes get liners. I lived in an area with lots of glass and nails, after getting liners I haven't punctured a tube.
