Disney Monorail Crash

It's always sad to see something like this happen. My prayers go out to the poor kid who was killed.

However what I read in response to that article I was appalled. I used to go to WDW alot when I was a kid and it was nice, very clean, very safe. The last time I went back in 2002 I do have to say it was not was WDW used to be. It was dirty, food area was horrible, and the safety was not even noticeable. I haven't been back since and have no urge to go back.

Anyhow, after reading that and watching the video. Why does it look like it's light out in that video (when the man is told "no cameras" and walks away, you can see sunlight) yet the article states this happened at 2am?

The it says the park closed at 10pm and the train stayed open for another 2 hours, that would make 12am not 2am? Hmmm something smells fishy.

A lady at my work told me about this. Such a shame. It'll be interesting to find out what really happened.

a) this is old news. this happened last saturday
b) not sure where you are going where you think the parks are dirty. disney parks are the cleanest of any amusement park in the country. i have never seen it dirty there.
c) not sure where you are eating, but the food is great. where exactly were you eating?
d) safety? are you kidding me? they have cops at the gate of every park who search any bag that goes through. not to mention tons of workers throughout the park. i have never felt unsafe there.
e) the parks are open past 10am, usually till midnight. and they have extra hours for those staying at a disney resort. monorails run well past closing as to get all of the people from the park to their resort or car.
