There's a lot of good info buried in the thread, but the jist is, some guy is building a compound turbo DSM. A big turbo (too lazy to find specifics) feeding a big 16G. Pretty insane.

There's a twin-charged one running around out there, too, and a twin stroker-engine one that is insane. I'll try to dig some of it up..

He just recently got it running, normal DSM issues, leaky oil pan included, lol. I can't wait to see it tuned and running, even if it's not ideal for everyone, it's awesome.

pretty cheap to do also (if you do the fabrication yourself of course).

I'd be interested to know what the piping weighs, I might give it a shot on the mr2 if it doesn't weigh too much
