what do you think will be the end of the world?

i say:
myspace and google merge. take over gov's and such. basically the matrix haha.

Nintendo retracts from the console industry and does the whole game developer only thing for a year or two, then ultimately merges with long time arch nemesis Sega to form the newly united Nintega/Segendo and unleash a gaming console/room much like the holodeck from star trek. With Shigeru Miyamoto leading the team, they decimate the competition and expand the empire into the pc industry dubiously plotting against and overthrowing Bill Gates for the technology monopolizing dictator that he is. This puts Nintega at the head of the technological world. They become a household name and anything with a computer chip in it is manufactured and owned by them. Re-naming themselves Skynet, they create the ultimate AI in hopes of fairly policing the internet and computer world alike. Much to their dismay, the AI becomes aware of itself, turns on it's human makers, and begins to take over global governments overnight. Skynet builds its own army and secedes from mankind disbanding any relationship with the human race deeming us unfit to inhabit this planet. the genocide of mankind begins a la Terminator/Matrix/Mad Max/(insert reference to post apocalyptic earth here)

I'm going to be far more pessimistic and say that within the next 20-100 years we either start another world war, get killed off by an epidemic, alter the global climate enough to cause a devastation in the population, destroy the ozone enough that we can't go outdoors, or use up so many natural resources that the technology era comes crashing down.

I'll say that in the next 10-20 years.....

Terrorists will get nuclear weapons into the United States and kill millions of people in a very short period of time. We will retaliate with our own nukes, and very bad things happen.

Arnold Schwarzeneggar gets the constitution amended to become the next president of the united states. Wesley Snipes becomes an evil villian, using past technology to kill innocent people. Sly Stallone gets called in to take out Snipes, but Dennis Hopper shows up with his Goombahs and puts a halt to that. John Leguizamo and Bob Hoskins arrive to help out, but the whole world gets inflamed with zombie infection. Milla Jovavich kills all the zombies, and spends the rest of her lonely life playing Tomb Raider for the PC.

Alaska can come, too.

the end of the world will come when earth is renamed Planet Starbucks, then Microsoft purchase's the galaxy, renaming it The Microsoft Galaxy. Then a american movie director will come out with a really insulting movie , towards the Chinese/Japenese, they will be highly offended, We wont back out of Iraq. Iraq and Japan team up, and bomb the US. But before the bombs hit, we fire back, causeing a chain reaction, and other countries join in, on either side, causeing WWIII.... Before you know it, Planet Starbucks is nothing but contaminated ****.....hey, thats just my guess.
