what happens to your old license

I just moved to PA and they put a hole in my old NJ license. Some one told me that I can just go and get another copy made. Is this true? I was jw what happens to them...

What do you mean what happens to them? Can you go to a Jersey DMV and say you lost yours and get another, probably but why

Thats what some one told me... I dont get it... doesnt PA send a notice to NJ saying that there is another license out there..

I thought you arent allowed to have more then one at a time?
