New Guy, Lancaster, PA. needs some help too!
I have two cars. my DD is a 1985 Nissan 300zxT (left it in SC) ![]() and my toy is my 2003 SRT-4 ![]() ![]() now, to the help!!! i would love a place to wash my car!! more importantly though, I am losing fuel pressure when it sits for a while. I have to prime the pump like 2-3 times to start the car. runs fine after that though... i don't have many tools with me to even try to fix it, and im not "supposed" to work on my car in my APT parking lot. Thanks, -Keegan |

Considering he was asking for help with the SRT, and an SRT driver answered, I'm going to assume that it's in the....SRT
Welcome, Keegan.

All appartments say you can't work on your car. They just don't want you usign like 3 parking spots and screwing othes over. If you use your head while working on the car, they won't say anything.

get rid of that worthless junk POS, either get a returnline or buy a stock unmodded FPR, and your car should be fine. I ran one with the same problem several years back when i was a newb, and i know of a few of them that completely failed on other people. complete worthless upgrade! |

i have a stock fpr in my garage in SC, ill see if i can explain what it is to the gf, and have her bring it up next weekend.
i am not convinced that is the problem though.... it was working fine with the stock fuel pump for years, and then worked fine with the 255 for about 1900 miles.... do you think maybe it shook a little loose and the o-ring isn't making a good seal? the roads to NATS and back "rocked me like a hurricane!" -Keegan |

Printing, cool! I was with American Color Graphics, now Vertis Communications in West York, PA for ~5 years where I ran an offset web press and am now at TimBar Packaging & Display in New Oxford, PA where I operate a feeder on a sheet fed offset press.
Are you in sales or customer service?

Well the web press was a 66 in. Toshiba 4 color heatset.....it ran typically between 1000 and 2000 fpm. It was an extremely dirty job.
The sheet fed press is a Planeta 64 in. 5 color Litho, I'm just learning about it though so as far as speeds and everything I cannot be sure. I do like sheet fed compared to web though man, sheet fed is so much cleaner!

Oh cool, they def. creep alot slower compared to a web press that's for sure. Overall though it's relatively the same process, ink and water....
I'm fairly confident the press I work on run's around 5500K iph.
