Gary Papa had cancer for 6 years and went through several chemotherapy treatments. He died like 5 days ago.

i seen a digital billboard on my way home that had a thing, i thought he died today, i havent heard anything of it.

really? must not watch the news very often then. he was completely bald from treatment and they talked about it for a long time the day he died.

i used to watch channel 6 everynight at dinner, i usually watch fox news at 11 but i havent really been watching it lately. i know one guy who shaved his head, i thought it was someone else though, and i thought he did it just to be cool. i cant find any pictures of him without hair

have u seen him on the news in the last 5 years? He's had "Chemo-Head" for about 50% of the time on air the last 5 years... I def didn't realize he had left air in may and had gotten that bad. surprised and saddened to see him go

Classy guy. really tell he loved his job and his life. He came to Philly (or ABC, I forget which one) in 1981, the year I was born... thats 28 years in the same job... pretty F'ing impressive.

I actually saw him at the TV station within the last 6 months while I was picking up some equipment to repair. RIP Gary Papa WPVI Sports Anchor 4EVER!
