Pain Killers

what kind have done you good?

im on vicodins right now, i see things on the corner of my eyes and im like... wait, there's nothing there lol.

i don't like percs because they make me feel like im floating away and i don't like that feeling lol. real wierd.

got an infection on my colon (was in the hospital for almost a week, and i might have pancreatits too, i gotta follow up with that on wednesday with my doc)

so if anything my doc will give me anything for pain, whats something that will just make me sleep, i don't want no crazy side affects that make me feel like im crazy.

oxycodone always got the job done for me, ive had a ton of surgeries and if I wasn't on a morphine drip I asked for oxys and they did just what I wanted them to do. They wont give you big doses but 80 and 160mg oxys will make you sleep for pretty much the whole day. Well when I say sleep I pretty much mean pass out...

mmm morphine... i was in ICU for a few weeks and lived on that ****! and 80 and 160 OC's ARE big doses..

if your taking OC 160's you either have chronic illness or are a junkie.

80s and 160s are for people with an opioid tolerance, like when I got out of the hospital I had been on a morphine drip so me taking a regular pain killer was like eating a skittle. But yea don't plan on doing much you just pass out

i really just want to sleep it off, i don't want nothing crazy that will make me feel like im in another world lol.

i'll talk to my doctor, see what she recommends but i hate what those addicts love, acting wierd and enjoying it. i just want to sleep it off as much as i can. i don't want to enjoy anything.

haha so true i was in the hospital for a month on morphine and other **** and it worked wonders lol

i was on morphine for a variety of surgeries. that s**t is fantastic.

If I go to a hospital and smell morphine my mouth starts to water

dude i snapped both my wrists like #2 pencils and the doctor gave me like 20 endocets..which lasted me like 3-4 days. I went back and he gave me tylenol 3's. He said..."you're young, you'll heal fast, no need to keep narc'ing you up"....and i thank him for that..i hate pills.and he was right, tylenol 3's did the trick. I'm not a big fan of pills at all, i have trouble swallowing them for one, and i have had many friends OD on a variety of meds after getting addicted (oxys, xanax, etc.)

i feel the same way. i did some damage to my right hand and when i got out of the hospital they gave me some kind of pills for the pain (can't remember the name). i've always been leery about taking pills of any kind, i even get weird about tylenol or ibuprofen. i got home, looked up what this certain pill does, and learned that it's only used for "mild pain" but is an opioid and is evidently extremely addictive. i said F that. i found some tylenol, ate that, and dealt with pain for a while.

i have a friend who used to be into building engines and all kinds of stuff. one of the most intelligent people i've ever met. this kid would hardly even kick back and sip a beer, much less touch any kind of illegal substance. long story short... he got prescribed pills of some kind, got addicted, and is now literally contributes as much to society as a bowl of jello. he doesn't even recognize his friends. it's real sad.

of course that all varies person to person, but when i look up the drug i'm prescribed and it says things about chemical dependancy, suicide risks, and whatever else... i'll pass. for me, i'll buy over the counter or get it through an IV drip or else i'm not taking it.

I'm a tylenol 3 fan. Even if I take half of what the doctor tells me, percs make me really itchy =X

exactly my point. I knew a kid (one of my best friends' younger brothers)...he didn't smoke cigs, or weed and barely drank. He was a union laborer and got hurt. They gave him oxy's. Long story short, he got addicted, moved on to dope, and you can now spot him on Kensington ave with the rest of the crackheads. Sad shyt, and unfortunately that is not the only person I know with a similar story.

I hate drugs, in any form. I'm no angel, but they got old to me REAL fast.

well, mom said she had a few percs from her last surgery a few months ago. she gave me one even though i don't like them to see if i can nap... but... like i feared, its making me feel spacey, i don't like it... uggh, i just gotta deal with it till it goes away.

its like, i grab myself in mid air and put myself back in myself... its so wierd. and its only when i doze off, say im watching a movie or something and im like... whoaaaaaaa, grabs! and im myself again. wierd.
