Waiver question
My local car group has been hanging out in a parking lot on the outskirts of my town, where two stores have gone out of business and the only business there is some lil ice cream store off to the side. The owner is working on waivers for us to sign, stating that we can drift/autox/gymkhana/etc. in the parking lot, and whatnot. Am I correct in that with these waivers signed, should a state trooper come flying in, going off the handle that we're committing reckless endangerment, that he can not actually fine us as long as we have the signed waivers (or a copy) and are following the rules of the establishment/area? (no messing around during business hours and after "quiet time" starts in the township)

I wouldn't count on it, unless you are in the middle of the sticks without a person around for miles and the person that you sign the waivers for owns the property im sure he would find something to cite you for. Just because the own says its ok doesn't mean its a sanctioned event, a couple people flying around a parking lot isn't ok just because the person who's parking lot it is says its ok.
