Pix from last nights storm....

Don't know if any of you are into thunderstorms but we had one hell of a storm roll through here last night around 1AM. Anyhow figured I'd share some pix I got.

Okay now here's a puzzler for you... camera did not move between these two pix. Same place less then a sec between shots.

We had a pretty nasty storm for about 20 minutes then it went away. Kinda late for Christmas lights isn't it? LOL

Nice shots. We got hit hardcore in West Chester. Lightning hit a pole behind the house and we lost power. This was between 2:40am and 3:15am. I was too tired to get out of bed but I was able to grab some radar captures though:

I love BAD storms... so it's not just you. Bring on the hail and high winds, just don't damage my Wrangler and bike and I'm good.

We got hit here in Princeton at around 3.am. Something different happened to me though.

I was laying in bed just watching the window, TV was on low volume. The lightening was pretty far away 5-6miles, when I was counting. About 10-12 more normal strikes, still very loud thunder. Then I heard what sounded like static I looked over at the TV but I don't think it was coming from there. Than a flash of lightening and crack of thunder that shook the house. I have no clue how the power didn't go out. But the static sound before the lightening hit was weird..have never experienced that before.

oh we had that alot with this storm, and normally if you have close enough lightning you will hear it. Sounds weird, but still cool.
