Hey just picked up an Evo

My last car: 07 Civic EX

New car: 08 Evo X GSR with SSS and aero kit

My sister's 09 WRX...

UPDATE
I returned that car the day after I bought it. That dealership pulled one over me, so I got my lawyer and we drove down there together.

I just picked mine up from the Cherry Hill Triplex today. They took care of me and I got a great deal. This one has the SSS, navi, and interior sports kit. Here are the new pics (crappy pics, but oh well).

Yeah, I'll probably get all of the basic AMS bolt ons and the GReddy SE dual exhaust and an Ivey tune. I'm not looking for too much power since I'm more about looks anyway.

This is my first stick shift car though LOL. My friend is coming over later to help me out.

Can't be that bad can it? Give him some tips as well as do's and don't to help him save the car.

its all about footwork, timing, leveling, and the rpm u shift at, be consistant and dont beat on it! if you stall, dont panic, it'll only make it worse. but on the other hand if u already kno how to drive stick then my tips are useless but ey owell lol nice pick up tho!

haha I feel for it too. I can shift fine once I get into first. Getting into first is my only problem. I think after a few hours of practicing I'll be ok.

Yeah, I tried it once on my sister's WRX a few months ago and I panicked when I stalled and let out the clutch all the way and the car bucked liked crazy. If I stall I just have to keep my cool.

driving a stick only SEEMS hard for the first week or two. Then it becomes second nature and you will never go back to automatic.
