All I want is suggestions on a budget wide angle or ultra wide angle lens for full frame (5D). Sigma, Tokina, Canon, etc. Ready......

i dont want to limit this toooo much. i would say a budget lens is up to $500 new or used.

i'll just say that a guy on potn picked up a 17-40L for $300.

not wide angle but sigma's 50mm 1.4 is an awesome lens, under $500

canon 100mm f2.8 macro is an outstanding lens which is under $500. i would list more but i gotta run.

I was talking wide angle, not lenses in general. The Canon 50mm f/1.4 is cheaper now, and you don't have the 50/50 chance of the Sigma 50mm being soft/yellow.

Ok, so you're talking used pretty much? And what exactly is POTN? I'm on B&H Photo and the only wide angles for a full frame that are close to $500 are all of these:

Canon 20mm f/2.8-$450
Sigma 20mm f/1.8-$570

I'd say **** it, just get the Canon 14mm f/2.8, it's only 2k.

Fisheye's a little more than wide angle, depending on what you wana use it for.

chaz, yes sigma made the 15-30 for canon but like noted, not sure if its for a FF sensor.
