OK guys. im starting a "curious thread" as to the following:

what kinda jobs do you guys have to be able to afford all the mods/or even the cars, im just wondering because the stereotyping issue seems to be surfacing all the tiem as to some people who spend mommy and daddys money on there cars that don't EVEN belong to them COUGHjohnCOUGH and have no respect for the simple "doller" im a stickler with money, and even though i don't make awhole lot. it pays my bills and such.

but for some people, they just don't seem to respect money and such

so what kinda jobs and/or where do you guys get the money for your cars/modding your cars.

I stole my car with all the mods already done to it...hah jp im a computer diagnostic technician..also work at a lawfirm.

i am a manager for a retail store, but i have no money to mod my car... my boyfriend spends it all :D

I own a 02 Mustang GT Premium coupe and mods are dirt cheap.
Payment is $325 a month based on 3.9% apr on $16,500. (bought 18 months old-used)
Not a low payment but not a large one either + owning it for almost 2 years at a mod a month or so and it adds up.

i wait tables and do freelance photography. of course a few weeks ago when i took the plunge on the new turbo setup plus some is right when they started cutting back my hours at the restaurant... boo.
anyways i figure that this stuff takes time and money. the more you spend of one the less you have to spend of the other sometimes, so i try to spend more money researching and shopping around with like new condition used parts so in the end i dont have to spend as much money to get to where i want to be.

Credit Cards my good man---thank the lord for Christmas bonuses and tax refunds--also, I am moving in with my girlfriend in Jan--so less $$$ for rent, more $$$ for mods.

oh, and I eat peanut butter and jelly 3 meals a day. And I havent been clothes shopping in like..2 years.

That's the key to being able to wasting large amounts of money on things you don't need.
