Before I posted this I searched and I only came up with powdercoating. Anyways...

I'm looking to get my wheels painted / clear coated for maybe $50 - $60 a wheel or less. I'm not looking for a powdercoating, just regular painting / clear coat. I tried myself and it came out really good but some parts are chipping very little and it is annoying me. Instead of just forking more and more cash into the wheel I would like to have them professionally done.

PM me if you know / are a shop that can do it. I am looking for a gunmetal finish with a clearcoat.

Looking for something like this (my previous attempt). If this cannot be done without a powdercoat I will just repaint my wheels again (except be a lot more precise).

First thing is what size are your wheels. second thing is whats the reason you dont want them powder coated. and third thing is no matter what shop you go to professionally powder or paint your gona pay some money dude if you want it done right.

My wheels are 17". It's not that I don't want them powder coated, but I heard that the process can cost a fair amount of money and also take a fair bit of time. At this point I'm debating taking them off, sanding them down completely and doing the whole process over a lot more carefully. These wheels actually came out great there are just 2 small spots that are very annoying.

well you're offering 50-60 per wheel to be painted and i've heard people charge as little as 50/wheel for powdercoating.

I didn't know that. I'm kind of a noob when it comes down to the difference between paint and powdercoat so I'm sorry if I come off as an idiot. I've heard that powdercoating is the best way to go (in terms of finish and quality). If I could get that done for $50 a wheel I would definitely consider it, the only problem being the time that it takes (I've been reading and some shops have a 3 week turn around).
