San, forge valves aren't that expensive, just buy the one you need instead of half hacking ****, and why you are replacing it on your nearly new car is beyond me. Do an intake first, and just do the DV at that time, replacing the DV now makes no sense. Stock DVs that leak USUALLY leak when you start pushing more boost through them, at stock they are fine really.

yep, and i've heard that even on stock cars the diaphragms tear very easily on 2.0t vw's

yep, diaphragms ftl, yet they do react quicker I believe.. it should be good for a while, but I like piston dv's. I put my stock on back on and it just sounds weird.

The 2.0T FSI has an electronic diverter valve located on the compressor housing of the turbo. In order to run a mechanical valve on your 2.0T FSI, you need to purchase a Diverter Valve Relocation Kit. That kit has everything you need.
