New mods installed *pics*

Got my manifolds, catch can, dual cais, and ported y-pipe on. Took it down to Atco tonight with hopes of breaking into the 11's. Unfortunately I didn't make it- ran a 12.1 @ 112.9. My tune is leaning out up top causing a less than stellar trap. I should be trapping between 115-120 with my setup.

Anyway here are some pics of my engine bay after the new parts were installed:

Tonight I averaged between 1.77-1.78 60's on my stock Michelin Pilot PS2's. I don't seem to be getting to much slipping even with the stock tires- maybe slicks may give me a 1.6 60'.

engine bay looks like sex. a bit crammed though. is that the reason for the 2 intake pipes leading to the s/c ? Cuz I would think you could pull in more air with one larger intake pipe and filter.

I think all crossfires have two intake tubes stock (correct me if im wrong). If I wasnt lazy id go look under the hood of the one in the garage lol. I know most aftermarket set them up like that....

Im jealous, why cant I drive a fast one

The stock setup is dual intakes. Rob from Needswings did extensive testing, originally skeptical of it's benefit. Surprisingly it showed excellent gains on the flow bench.

That has to be one of the most symmetrical engine bays I've seen. Nice time, so close to 11s. Any video of your runs? Good luck next time.

Thanks- with these mods I should be good for 11.9-11.7 and a trap between 116-120. I think it's leaning out up top- I'm hitting the 1/8th in 7.7 @ 90 yet another 1/2 a track and I'm only going 112-113.

Unfortunately I haven't gotten anyone to shoot video of my runs- I'm usually the video guy as it's what I do for a living. In fact my buddy with the same car and mods (sans his Meth kit) is running at Atco tomorrow night. I may bring the cam and film his runs. He's broken into the 11's with his (11.9 @ 114).

I have a few things to sort out on mine other than the tune. I'm getting a bizzare sound a mid throttle on the highway between 1500-2500 rpms. Anything before or after that the sound fades. The best way I can describe it is a high pitch sound. Maybe a boost leak- maybe a bad bearing in a pulley...I'm not sure... here's a sound clip:
