PIG STi's 2006 STi - Supertones & Centric rotors arrived!

I've been on here a few years now. I never started a journal. So, here it goes. I'll be slowly modding the car as I'm saving for a home. My goal is to 1 day get this in a magazine. I never had a car of mine in one and would love it.

2006 Subaru STi nicknamed "PIG STi".

BACKGROUND
I was at the time looking for a Black 05/06 model because those were the best 2 years imo & I LOVE black. I finally found one after months of looking for one w/ low miles & in excellent shape. I bought the car completely stock w/ tinted windows from Faulkner Subaru in Bethlehem in April of 2007 for $28k. It had 9,000mi. on it. I'm the second & LAST owner of this car. It was to be used as my DD. After seeing how it wasn't a very good economy car, I bought a Jetta to use for my DD. The STi has become my second show/sunday driver. It's my dream car & I'll never let it go. I'll be posting pics randomly throughout this thread as I keep modding it. Enjoy!

Don't post crap about my Rims please....these where bought for me from my late grandfather. I won't ever be taking them off...

New pics of the 04 Tails installed. 5/2

ALSO The infamous plate.

***if you don't know, I named it PIG STI because the 06/07's are called the pignose years, and it's an STi, also the metaphor haha***

Shot of the 3" Bosal Catback Exhaust. Looks stock.

Oakos.com

They're a great place for parts that are sometimes cheaper than ebay. NOTE: I used aluminum under it and used JB weld to hold it. Otherwise it's just a cutout of the "PERRIN".

Update: I just ordered RCE Yellow Springs today. Should be here in a week. Looking to install them by the last weekend in May. I'll be running the stock struts with these, but i researched and found these work the best with the stockers.

Also took off the dumb decals in the engine bay.

Plasti dip works perfectly...
1 can will do it. Sand it using light sand paper just to scuff it up and then use rubbing alcohol to get the dirt and loose crap off. Then hit it with a coat of primer. Then i used 5 light coats of plasti dip in 30 min intervals...The center hvac controls are decals i ordered off a guy on IWSTI.com...his usernames like graphicSti or something close to that. They were $12 shipped
