How much are these typical high speed digital cameras offered from Phantom and the like? I have always wanted one but most site ask that your request a quote, so I am guessing that it is super expensive..

Are there any less expensive alternatives? I dont need 8000fps but probably around 100 would be pretty sweet, a resolution of at least 800x600 would be nice..

Anyone have any of these or know much about them?

i forgot all about this camera. the resolution isnt so great the higher fps, but still cool that it shoots that fast.

WOW that thing is sweet, they have a newer modeol of that also, but picture quality seems to be quite lacking..I'd want a bit more resolution on the high speed stuff, 800x600, and a bit better picture quality in normal mode.. Mabye they will come out with a better one next year, if so I am definitely buying it

yea, itll be nice if they can up the resolution. i would def buy one as a second camera.

I am betting they used this camera for planet earth hd series which is bad ass..
