toll violation

so i received two tickets in the mail and this happened on the garden state parkway. first ticket said the incident was 2 months ago and 2nd one i got 2 weeks ago. my question is can this ticket be fought? theyre both only 55 each but sometime wen i put in coins they either fall out or the machine doesnt say paid. and other times i was in a rush to get to work so i just put my money in and didnt bother waiting for the thing to say paid. can it be fought? statute # is 19:9-1.19, thanks to whoever replies

When sarge checks in hell help you out, im not from that side of the creek hes better off the answer you

But my opinion, is the 110$ really worth trying to go fight them? If it is then have at it I dont know what the tickets look like but if there is a spot to plead not guilty or contest the charges and you feel you want to go through with it then go for it. But look at it this way, all they have to go on is a picture of your license plate set off by the toll not being paid and then your word saying that you did pay it.

slow down and pay your toll or get the eazypass or you are going to keep getting these summons most of those toll booths are 40 years old.
