Trip to Germany (Porsche Heaven)--PICS!

TST,

So as many of you know, I travel a good bit in search of cool cars - and the latest trip was one for the record books. Stuttgart Germany!

Went over with a good friend and fellow Porsche nut and WOW what a trek it was. If you are thinking about going - JUST GO - you wont regret it.

Ok, on to the pictures.....

Almost there

The hotel lobby (where many beers were killed!)

AMG World Headquarters deep in the hills of Germany

Spotted a Panamera the first night!

Party time!

Ok, off to the museum....

Then we walked around the museum, the factory area (didnt go on the tour) and the HUGE main dealership right there in Suttgart. What a selection of Porsches!

Ok, now the fun begins - we scoop up the rental car - 2009 997.2 Cab with PDK :D

Some more fun at Porscheplatz 1

Then off to Bentley/Lambo Stuttgart........not a bad inventory :D

First stop of the day, private tour of TECHART :D

Next stop - guided tour of GEMBALLA!

Our car (right) was one of many Porsches in the parking lot of our hotel each night. Very cool indeed!

Then to the Hockenheimring - what a drive!!!!!!!......and what a place to watch racing. I cant imagine this place jam-packed for a race. Must be electric.

Then to Heidleburg (sp?) for THE drive of the trip. For those of you not faimliar with this place, its magical. Right out of a story book, old school German village like place that seems almost to beautiful to be real. The river runs right downtown, the mountains dominate the otherside, and inbetween is a sweet little mixture of Starbucks and mountain twisties that would make any of you reading this cry - pics dont do it justice but lets just say that 65 degrees, top down, music cranked rolling up the side of a mountain overlooking this town/river/mountain was EPIC to say the least. Enjoy.....

Thanks for looking :D .................until the next adventure, drive safe and enjoy your Porsches everyone!

LOL....i knew the Zonda would cause quite a stir. The car was insane in person. The pressance it had in the room (that was filled with Lambos and Bentleys) was incredible.

I researched a lot before i went. Scouted out local dealers/car companies/etc.

I actually have a few contacts in Germany so i had them make some calls (in German) for me so the people and places were expecting me.

It all worked out really well. If ANYONE is interested in this, please PM or email and ill help you out.

Thanks again for the kind words!
