This is all due to the failing economy. The team over at Miramax needs to adjust some of its marketing strategies because online ticket sales have not fared too well. Their official report was:

"We are not immune to this economy either. The latest numbers show that a 4/3/09 release is not viable for a film of this size and caliber. At this point all we can do is apologize and please try to understand our point."
