Couple pics and vids from Florida

Well myself and a coworker of mine went to Florida this week. We were sent down, all expenses paid, by the company we work for. They sent us down to get training from SCT and Diablosport (they make hand held tuners and chips for domestic cars). I already do custom tuning with SCT, but went for more training with them, and so the other guy could learn the basics, and then we both started from scratch learning to tune Diablosport. We got a chance to stop by a shop called Blow By Racing, which is one of the shops that has an account with our company. But here are a few pics and vids from our time down there.

Johnny Z's Kenne Bell GT (one of the guys from BBR) along with a sick road race car they built

MMMMMMMMmmmmm

Sick ass f150. Built 3V motor, whipple supercharger. Makes about 450whp on 8psi right now, getting ready to turn it up to 18psi and retune it, shooting for like 600-650whp

haha yea we are getting there. We actually just outgrew our 40k+ square foot warehouse and had to get another one along with the one we currently have. We have also been bringing in a ****load of new parts. A lot of fox resto parts. And now, we are going to be one of the few, if any, companies who will be doing mail order diablosport custom tuning.

Mail order tunes are uber ghey!!!

Tell Chris and steve with all that money they have made in the last 5 years and get a dyno and get into real tuning and instalation of all the parts they carry. It would just make american muscle-(mustang tuning) A real company that covers all the basis of mustang performance.

Well, its way different between domestics and imports. Me personally, I kind of fell into the position because I was working as a customer service rep, and I showed interest in tuning, and the guy who was doing it wanted to not do it anymore so he could focus on other things at work, and they asked if I would want to learn how to do it and take over for him, so I did. Tuning imports is a whole different can of worms though because it is a lot harder.

It's not different!!!!! I guess thats why he has you doing mail order tunes cause you people have no idea what the hell your actually doing!!!!

A motor is a motor it's functions are basic, you cant say oh domestics are different than a import blah blah. it comes down to the software and what you do and don't know about it and how to properly make changes to air/fuel and timing etc. It;s just like saying i can tune a supercharged car and can't a nitrous car it's all the same, if you tune it wrong no mater what the hell kind of motor it is you will have detonation and than ultimatly engine failure !!!! Thats why I said before get a dyno or some other means of tuning.

MAIL ORDER TUNES ARE NOT WORTH THE MONEY

When it comes to dyno tuning your right it's all the same in principal just different software. The fact remains that your an asshole though.

And as far as them not being worth the money, for the people with basic bolt on cars it is because a dyno tune really doesn't gain that much more power for the extra few hundred dollars. For a blown car or highly modded it's a different story though.

**** me nah buddy **** you and your bull**** company you work for !!! not trying to start a war just trying to save people the money on bull**** mail order tunes that you are doing and have no idea what the **** you are doing.

I would stick to the Pre-loaded maps that SCT and or Diablo comes with and would not trust you to put my cars life and the value of it in your hands. Your making the company you work for AMerican Muscle Look like a scab company that cares more about profit margins than actual quality and performance... Way to go I know Where i am not going to buy from

Not to be a dick either but that guy is right. A mail order tune is probaly one of the worst things you can do to your car. No engine is built that same, nor runs the same. You can not tune one car and expect one with similar mods to be the same. I've seen many car's blow motors from this. Leaner is meaner!!!

Looks like a fun vacation though. I need one soon myself

I do apologize, that response was uncalled for. The fact remains, we have a lot of customers who are very happy with their mail order tunes. And as for not caring about the customer, that is entirely untrue. If we were really just all about making as much money as possible and didn't care about our customers or the quality of our products and service, we would be slinging tunes out there left and right for cars that SHOULD be dyno tuned only like supercharged cars, turbo cars, built motors, etc etc. We don't do that, because we know it is not safe without having any way to monitor the car. The tunes we do are for simple bolt on applications like intakes for the 05+ crowd, because they need a tune to run it, but don't need to spend $500-$600 on a dyno tune for just an intake. Our tunes are safe, and we wouldn't risk our customers cars by doing tunes for the above mentioned things. We don't go for the "meaner is leaner" because we know it is unsafe, and that is not what we want.

it's cool not hating just stating...

for the 05 guys with just an intake i do relize they need a tune for the greater airflow but thats about all they imo are good for.
