If not, have you ever gone deep into the Country and notice how fresh the Air seems? Ever wonder why you can see more stars there? Turns out cars give off pollutants and some people want it to be less. HOW DARE THEY.

Analogy -

I'm a cigarette smoker and 110% understand why its now not allowed in most places and In NO way did I ever think it was a Freedom Violation. Why? Because I’m not selfish and understand that Cigarettes give off smoke and not everyone wants to breath it in for obvious reasons.

Anyone here ever been in a smoky bar and wish everyone put there cigarettes out? Or that Cigarettes didn’t give off so much pollutants/smoke? If they came out with a device that made the smoke from Cigarettes a lot less and smokers started to complain about it wouldn’t those smokers look selfish as hell?

Poolmike - would said smokers freedom be violated if they came up with a device to lesson the smoke? If that happen should they call their local government and complain? In California they came up with another way to lesson pollution and your response is they are Violating freedoms.. Explain why/how by thinking of the greater good for everyone and not just those that like black cars..

but it is just one more step to banning the whole car. Kalifornia does have some crap for air, no doubt. I had no idea black cars were the problem. I always assumed it was the high hippie population smoking weed and not taking showers and such. I stand corrected. We should eliminate the whole state.

wow, just goes to show, you dont have to be smart to be a politician in california. banning a color to help with emissions? shouldnt they worry about murder and violence and not what color should be on the chopping block?

dam hippies.

They dont think black cars are the whole problem. Its a scientific fact Black cars heat up more inside making the owners crank up the A/C which in turn creates more pollution. It is a VERY very small step towards helping the situation but it is something. Its not like this is the only thing they are trying to put into effect to help with smog issues.

This is far from a step to banning the car. Dont worry.

This is only a step towards helping reduce emmisions. Not a step in taking everyones car away from them. Maybe its not just the hippies smoking weed?
True....but once again, the gov't snowball starts out small, rolling down a hill picking up pace and size, soon telling you that all colored cars are to be outlawed, you may only drive a car with clearcoated plastic, and the snowball gets bigger, now cars are outlawed, the snowball gets bigger, you can only go by horse and buggy, Then PETA steps in, the snowball gets bigger and you decide that they are right and we are screwing the planet up.So you decide decide be a hippie and walk barefoot and naked to create less greenhouse gas like our gubbment wants...but there are LAWS against walking around barefoot and naked! Slightly exaggerated...or is it?

I def. understand that and could in vision it happening but SERIOUSLY doubt it ever will because of the money loss (car profits, job loss, harder for people to go shopping/ and get to work, car insurance companies closing, oil not being sold, maintenance tech job loss, tire companies, etc etc) basically a HUGE hit on the economy all together not to mention the entire United States trying to kill whoever signed that bill.

When one person wants cleaner air and the other wants to be able to buy a black car I'm going to vote for cleaner air.

i cant imagine that banning black cars will help enough for the ban to be legit. can we vote california out of the US? that way they can have arnold as president, and we dont have to tolerate anymore of the moronic hippy BS ideas.
by california logic, wouldnt banning AC be the root of this issue, as black cars use it more frequently?
seriously, banning a color? ridiculous.
