DIY Cold Air

i know most of you guys have STi's, so in which case you might not feel the need to do this...

but seeing as though i have a camry, and very limited stuff if made for it, almost all of my mods had to be fabricated by myself

one of my favourite mods is my CAI that i made out of nothing but exhaust piping and PVC couplings

if anyone needs info on how to do this just let me know...its fairly simple and only takes a couple of hours, and the best thing of all, it only costs around 100 bucks compared to that pricey AEM at 220+

DIY is great!!

Looks like you did a great job on that cold air but I would change the plumbling no hubs to actual silicon couplings. The heat from the motor might eat the no hubs/fernco's and you end up with black stuff all over the inside to your intake system.

I had this problem with my intake to the turbo leaving a nice black residue inside my turbo and intercooler pipes.

I wish I would've had taken a pic of the mess. Then again I had the fernco on the turbo and that thing is HOT. You might be ok, but it might be something to look into later down the road. Just keep an eye on it.
