So had to drive my friend to work today at 7am up to Princeton. On the way there on Rt1, I have these 2 cardinals come across the lanes flying low. The first one made it, the 2nd one however didn't. I look in the rear view and see a bunch of feathers shoot out. Cool, I just took out a bird with a car going 80mph. Well I get home go back to sleep and forget about it. I wake up and remember that I hit a bird. I go out and check to see if anything was damaged and such I find this...

wedged in the passenger side corner in front of the rad.

Then sincere asked if I hit 2 birds. Not that I know of, but this is in the dead center of the rad...

I pull it out, and oh, its the head.

Sorry if the needle-nose pliers are a bid "wrong", only way I could get it out. A proper burial was performed haha. That was my interesting day.

wow i did the same thing in the audi a while back... it was stuck in my front grill and i kept forgetting to get it out... when i did it crunched. ich.

Damn, that kinda sucks, I personally hate hitting animals. It just makes me feel bad. Especially one like a cardinal, theyre such beautiful birds. but ya. damn that sucks. any damage to ur car?

lol i found it funny too but still feel bad. and no damage was done to the car minus trying to take a wheel bearing out later on.

I dont know why but the head is funny as hell to me.

A funny bird/duck story of mine from last year..... ME and Dave on here decided to switch bikes at the BB meet in NJ last year and take a little 5 minute cruise. Well were coming back to the meet and a light turned yellow and we both punched it to beat the red light. Well at that excact same time a duck flew dead into my chest and almost knocked me off his bike. After it flew into me it decided it was going to beat me to death with its wings.

Well I locked up his brakes and came to stop and the duck went hobling away. I think it even laughed at me. Damn animals.

I ran over a running squirrel on my mountain bike once. I was just cruising down this hill and then it ran out across the path in front of me. Thump thump.
