Does E-Z Pass have a yearly or monthly fee?

I am looking into getting an E-Z Pass for Pennsylvania however all my friends tell me that there is no monthly or yearly fee. However when I was looking into ordering one I kept seeing all these random fee's and i rather just post it on here then trying to figure it out. I bet more then half of you guys have it. Originally I had no interest in getting one because I hardly go onto the turnpike to make it worth it. I also thought there had to be a fee to use the service. However all my friends swear by they pay nothing for it besides just the toll costs. So if there is no fee I may just get it so I don't have to deal with waiting in line to pay for ticket stubs.

edit: you prepay onto the ez pass and when you blow through a toll at 70mph it takes the toll money out of your account. re-fill when necessary.

Here in DE easy pass charges you 25 bucks to start...then when your account goes below 10 bucks it automatically recharges another 25 bucks.

I wonder the same thing all the time. I usually go 15-20 and the posted limit is 5.

I've been through a few express ones that are posted at 45 and go 50 or so.

I went through the express one at 90 lol. I love ezpass, even when I don't have it with me I still just go through the ezpass lane, they just send you a bill for the toll amount.

I think if you sign up for automatic account balance replenishment using a credit card, it waives the initial fee. It will automatically re-fill your account up to $35 if it goes under $15 I think?

I believe it's under $10 they refill it with $30 but I'm not really sure. Either way it's awesome especially getting off at Rt1 during rush hour.

I've never got a ticket in the mail. And I've done it multiple times.
