Damn no parking spots at night! : Rant.

... and some people put chairs out to hold spots!!!
Saw one chair was even chained to a pole.

I would throw the chair on the sidewalk but I wouldn't be able to park there anyway fearing of slashed tires.

I parked halfway on a curb ramp corner and usually the cops are lenient at night. $75 ticket at 10pm. Not late enough and if the car in front moved forward a bit I'd look like a douche on the corner.

I should have parked in the spot 2 blocks away and walked.

awaiting "Stop breaking the law!" comments.

im not going to bust your balls, living in the city without a parking space is brutal. i even have a gated parking lot and have gotten tickets because i was too lazy to move my car midday if i was parked on the street. ever think about getting a neighborhood parking pass.. 35 bucks a year and you can park all day long.

where in town do you live? im in south philly

I know the feeling. One lady on my block always puts a bucket in "her" spot and loses her mind if it gets moved.

I don't have to park in the city in my personal, but when I do go out on calls for work and see the cones or chairs I plow them over with my van. God, I've lost count on how many chairs I've broken and how many angry people have yelled at me and called the cops on me just for the cops to cite them. Unless it's a clearly marked pedestrian spot I will park on it.

funny i have seeing some awesome ghetto fights in north philly over parking spaces, people are nuts bro. the funny thing i have all the parking in the world right now. but i may be moving to 4th and fairmount soon just to be closer to my mother and the shop. well at least i could leave the car at the shop and ride my bike over to the house.

Yeah, some lady one time told me her husband was disabled and he was coming home and I told her I would be in this house literally 15 minutes conducting a survey so if he was due home in a few hours she shouldn't worry. She proceeded to get undercovers and two marked cars on me. They took down my info because she told them I was trying to put my ladder on her house, yet my ladder had not left the truck and the only reason it's there is if I have to physically verify something at a pole which I don't do any of anymore. Also, the lady at the house I was visiting told her I had gotten there 10 minutes earlier and had not done anything but try and talk reason to her neighbor. Lady felt 2 inches tall after that.

two ****in blocks and you decided to park on the curb like a douche? its beautiful outside tonight, there is no reason to not park two measly blocks away and enjoy the night air. They should have towed your car.

lol. You are a lazy ****. When I lived in Manayunk, I'd have to park 9 blocks away and walk up a hill.

Why would you park on mainstreet and walk up hill? There are plenty of good parking spots on Hermitage Ave.
