DOH!! Need Help with AEM Wideband!!

Alright well i guess my extra slack of my AEM wideband got a little loose and dangled to the ground and managed to slit two of the wires open and probably got wet, i electrical taped them but my gauge still just reads 14.8 through 14.7-14.9 but nothing else...

Also when your not on the throttle its suppose to not read anything like this --- and it still just stays at 14.7?

Did i fry the gauge or do i just need to redo the wiring?

Need some help here not an electrical guy at all!!!

not really trying to spend another 200 dollars on the gauge

Mine has been like this since i bought it new. Everywhere i searched says it needs a new sensor which can be picked up for around $60 if i remember correctly. Sucks that i bought mine for $250 months ago, installed in weeks later and never had it work rite since. Now there brand new at about $200-215.

If your wiring got damaged, you need to repair it.
If the wiring is fine and the gauge just started to get stuck on 14.7 then its time to replace the sensor. Mine seem to last around 2yrs before needing to be replaced.

Do you have any friends that run an AEM wideband? If so, unplug it and plug yours into their wiring and see if it still reads that way. If it does, then it's the gauge and not the wiring that's screwed.

When I lift of the gas, mine reads "---"
