I looked at my tire pressure the other day after not checking it for 2 months and all 4 were 22psi... I suggest you guys check your tires and adjust accordingly.

FYI: STi's require 36psi in the front and 30 in the back.

criz if you are having any understeering problems think about switching those numbers... slightly lower pressure in the front and slightly higher in the rear... maybe 32-34 front and 36-38 rear

no understeer probs at all... i couldn't believe that Subaru wants lower pressure in the back by up to 6psi. Strange huh?

The other day I thought I was being cool by putting all 4 tires @ 40psi during 55degree weather.

Tonight i'm going to put the pressure down to what Subaru recommends and see how it feels.

I'd be cautious of too much neutralizing of the car. It is colder now-people generally want less of an oversteer potential with the precipitation on the ground.
But then again, I'm sure 4wd & Rwd owners look forward to this stuff....

I dunno this **** sucks, after some spirited driving the other night with Sisforsurfing going around a turn ive done 100 times before back end decided to want to come out since the tires were colder :'(

lower pressure in the rear is because the rear weighs considerably less than the front of the car - requres less air pressure to keep the tire's shape.

as far as cold tires, especially if kept at higher than normal pressures for the summer - they will get unpredicatble, so please be cautious.

Back on topic - for every 10 degrees F the temperature drops, expect to loose 1 PSI of tire rpessure - so if you last checked it in the summer at 80 degrees you'll be down 6 PSI simply from the drop in temperature.

i check mine every weekend [since i work at a gas station with a shop] and set them all 5 below max press...

You shouldn't have to run them at 45 something psi. 32-35 is fine for alot of people.

My tires are 44 max psi... so i set them at 37psi-39psi range

Lower tire pressures in the rear: that's most likely just to keep the general public from any potential oversteer condition. (Again, from which most of the general population would find difficult to correct in an emergency situation).
