Someone I know is having engine problems with a 2005 2.3L Mazda 6. Can anyone recommend a good garage in North Jersey who is familiar with these engines? Any input would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

anything done to it? guessing he doesnt have a warranty so the dealer is outta the question?

hes a certified mazda tech who does work on the side out of his own garage....

Engine is knocking/ticking, and no the car is not modded. And thanks for the info, the car is actually being looked at by a local mechanic. Depending on how that goes I might be contacting teknics.
