New additions

I just got a few new scorpions to add to my collection. I don't have pics of them yet because I need to get my moms camera but here is what they look like.

I got 3 Centuroides Exilicauda (Arizona Bark Scorpions) The largest is about 1.5" long (tail extended) and the other 2 are about 1"

4 Centuroides Gracilis (Florida Bark Scorpions), they are from Brazil and considerably more venomous than the ones you find in Florida, all just over 1" in length.

2 Hottentotta Trilienatus (Tanzanian 3-lined Bark Scorpion), both about 1/2" long, and 1 that neither I or the guy I got it from can ID. It is only about 1/4" and just way too small to even guess. Today is a happy day

Troll: Those species are communal so they can share a tank with the same species, as long as they are all roughly he same size, are given plenty of hiding places and food, if not cannibalism is not uncommon. These guys are in ziplock storage containers with substrate bathroom cups cut in half for hides for right now because they are still young and I want then to be able to find their food easily and it make it much easier to regulate temp and humidity (very important until they are fully grown). When I get the camera I will post pics of my other species tanks.

Gorilla: Yes they really are that small, when fully grown the Arizona Bark and 3 lined scorpions should reach 3", the Florida barks should reach around 4", and I have no clue how large the mystery scorp will reach, but judging by its current size I would guess around 2-3"

All scorpions are venomous, but none are poisonous. So you can ingest the venom with no ill effects, just don't get stung

Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to work the manual settings on the camera and as you can see the auto focus in macro setting wasn't working well. When I figure it out I will post better pics. This is the bigger of my Arizona barks, and yes it's on a bathroom cup so you get an idea how small she really is.
