I agree, I use to take honda ECU connectors at the junkyard and make my own tuning harnesses. I spent next to nothing. The hard part is sourcing the correct connectors, both female and male end. I'm trying to do one for the Mazda but the connectors are harder to find...cheap. They also make step down or straight harness which you can just tap into it like you would on the ECU wires but save your ECU wires from splices. However, they're around $100 also.

there are always going to be people who are okay with spending money for convenience, and there are going to be more if the product is cheaper. the problem with selling them cheaper is that in order to sell any you'll have to develop a reputation for quality and precision right off the bat. personally i wouldn't spend a dime on a conversion harness if there are any soldered connections or used parts. that's something i can do myself. i've been spoiled by things like Password:JDM's harnesses and i think thats how most people will be as well.

well there ya go.. if you've got the hookup and have a plan of action to do it legit, then go for it. i think there's a market for the harnesses, so you'll definitely sell some.

I've actually been trying to hunt down ECU connectors for the Mazda so I can install a piggyback without having to splice wires and save my warranty. if you can really do this i'm very interested. Either way, if you can help me with the connectors LMK, thanks.
