I have a question regarding a traffic violation.

Hi, How are you doing? What are my chances of pleading not guilty and winning for running a red light (when it was actually yellow)? I don't mind paying the ticket I just can't get anymore points on my license. I'm currently a student at Kutztown University and I commute. If I am unable to commute to school I will have to drop out. So I was wondering that when I'm before the judge that I can work out a deal with just paying for the fine and not getting any points on my license. Or I will be lucky enough that the cop won't show. Please let me know what you think. Your response could help me greatly.

Thank You,

Brad

There is no set way, reason or percentage of chance a citation will go one way or another in court. The judge isn't required to change a citation, all you can do is plead not guilty and have your day in court. Explain your situation about commuting to school and see if they are willing to do anything.
