Guitarist thread! Tabs, good songs, etc..

I know we have some guitar players on here, let's see if we can get a little guitarist chat going on.

Link up to some good tabs, share some songs that are fun to play, or talk about different gear and such.

BTW, where do you go to get tabs online? MXtabs used to be the shizzle but since it was shut down and put back up it hasn't been the same. I've been jamming with my housemates a little bit and I can't find many decent tabs for the songs I want to play.

Yeah man, all three are great. I've been into acoustic stuff recently. CHAOS showed me City and Colour, I like their song Confessions. Also 11am by Incubus.

Take your time, slow down the riffs. follow your lead finger into the chord. Like, plant your index finger then follow with the others. youll slowly learn to plant all of your fingers at once. Also, strengthen your fingers, buy that thing you can grip and push up and down on, it really helps. Acoustic is the best way to start, IMO.. good choice.

Can we actually post some chords to full songs? These tabs are only the lead melody to about 10% of the actual song.

Btw, this is probably the best site for learning how to play songs. They give you the actual music video with chords overlaid, however it is a pay site. They do have a free podcast though, that teaches you all of the basic chords.
