I joined the Marines.

I joined the Marines, i will be shipped out for Bootcamp September 4th, 2006. Wish me luck ;) My Father was a Marine so i am going in also, great sign on bonus, great jobs, get to meet new people, see new things. But the good part is i will be stationed in San Diego, California, Okinawa, Japan, or Hawaii, for the job i am taking, so no IRAQ for me. Hopefully i have fun, it should be a good time for myself.

In Japan they have JDM junkyards...you can get used JDM parts or broken ones...I paid 2500$ for my AMUSE exhaust and someone in Japan can easliy go to the JDM junkyard and find one...

goodluck man, i almost went into the marines. I scored 2 points from perfect on the AsVat (or however you might spell it), and i was so psyced. i wanted to go in and then my dad found out about it and flipped. since i was 17 at the time of graduation that ment i also would need some sort of parental/gaurdian signature to allow me to go in or wait 9 months til i turned 18. i figured there was alot to do in 9 months so i instead went to college. but once again man take care while your in there and good luck with everything.

...what was your score on the AFQT portion? As in what do you think is a "perfect score".
