AJ's 98 mustang
i figured i would put this in here cause open tracking is what made me make these. i wanted to make pedal cover that made it easier to heel/toe downshift into left foot braking. I started practicing left foot braking but it was a pain to heel/toe downshift, then roll ur right foot up the brake pedal to make room to get ur left foot under ur right and get ur right foot ready for gas as u ease off the brakes. so this is what i came up with, and practicing with them driving around was great. so much easier. my new clutch pedal and brake pedal next to what was on there. i made the clutch pedal shorter at the bottom, as well as a generous cut out of the lower right corner to get my left foot to the brake pedal easier. the brake pedal is obviously bigger at the top right and lower left. its so much easier and smoother to get both feet on it. ![]() ![]() i finished them up by getting some grip tape from the local skate shop. ![]() ![]() ![]() this was just a cheap, easy way to kill some time and try and make something for my car. |

money is tight so i look for simple, DIY jobs i can do on my car on the cheap. anyone who has ever looked at the front sway bar endlinks of a mustang knows how bad they are. they use rubber, sometimes polly, bushing on the ends of them. allowing alot of play and body roll. so i fabbed these up the other day.
a solid sway bar end link with no binding. ![]()
