Laptop repair Parts or repair

I need an LCD display inverter/ballast OR a new lcd display with inverter/ballast for a toshiba satillite A200 laptop..Does anyone know where I can get these parts or where I can take it for repair..I really only need the inverter which is like a 20 dollar part..Anyone have any advice? TIA

yeah...

99% of the time its the inverter. thats the first part to replace. if the problem is fixed great if not the backlight bulb has to be replaced.

ebay the part and ill install it for free.

I found the toshiba part number but searching ebay results in items that were ended already..The bulb should be fine since it works but when it has been on for alittle it will flicker and go out, sometimes it will come back if I close and open the lid...the part number is V000070350 if you know of a good place to buy it that would be great, prices range from 20-120 for this part online haha.. I can fix it myself but then again I'd have to buy the tools, but if you already have that stuff I'd let you take a crack at it if you want
I may try this and make the guy an offer of 31.05..

you should only need a small phillips screwdriver. Its very easy on toshibas no soldering required.

Do a search on google for the part number. I'm sure a whole bunch of shady computer parts dealers have what your looking for. Pick the least shady looking and hope for the best.
