Looking for rechargeable AA batteries

I'm looking to pick up some AA batteries for my flashes and was wondering what do you guys all use. Right now I got some junk ones that sort of don't hold a charge for that long it seems.

I'm probably going to pick up set for each flash right now, and maybe a set for the MBD10 if I ever need to use the AA holder. So really I'm looking at to pick up about 16 batteries and a charger. I was looking at the Eneloop style batteries where they say they hold a charge for a long time. Has to do with their slow self discharge rate. Any who any suggestions for some decent rechargeable AA batteries?

I have energizer rechargeable batteries. My camera runs on AAs so I needed them and they are working great I'm getting about 200-300 shutter clicks out of a charge depending on how much I use the LCD screen and flash. I haven't tested how long the charge holds while in storage because I've been using the camera a lot. But the pack says it will hold the charge for 365 days.

Go to Ritz Camera. They had a 4 pack of 2500 mAh AA batteries with charger (home/vehicle plugs!) for $24.99 last I was there. You can also purchase some 2800 mAh AA batteries separately for about $20 IIRC.

I use these for my SB600 flash and my Nikon video camera.... It's basically an instant recycle (off camera) and very fast on camera.

I run the Eneloops. On my 430ex, they refresh faster than the Sony and Energizers I've used before. I don't have a stopwatch so I can't time it, but the difference is noticeable.

Rechargeables I see a lot of people use energizers and what not. I just picked up 2 packs of the lithium AA batteries for SB800 and it recycles in no time. Its almost incredible about how fast the flash can recycle. I know its not a rechargeable AA, but I just thought I'd throw that out there.

Energizer Greens.

ALL my electronics actually run off them.

if you're planning to use them regularly i'd suggest this 8 battery charger (they also have a 4 battery version if it suits you better): http://thomasdistributing.com/shop/-...kn26smklk70k92

and these batteries: http://thomasdistributing.com/shop/-...kn26smklk70k92

lots of good feedback about them on strobist.com and its exactly what i bought to use in my flashes. i have 16 batteries and one 8 battery charger.

The batteries to buy are in Bryan's post above. Great batteries with long lasting power. I've been using them for years now and they keep going.

Thanks for the info Bryan. I read the comments on Strobist and them seem to be a decent battery that I'm looking for. I'll have to check them out more when I get back home.
