yea awesome car but with a price tag,, which sucks, for all that electrical fudge me,, great ideas coming out more and more,, i love datsuns too!!..

god i would love to see an electric drift car that would surprise me

these two guys in canada built an electric car out of a Geo Metro LOL using a forklift electric motor and a couple batteries at the cost of under $1,000.

Pretty cool 510....errr, I now see it's actually a Datsun 1200. http://www.plasmaboyracing.com/whitezombie.php

Where I work we just pulled the motor out of an '84 E30 323i and converted it to electric motor power...pretty much just for the hell of it. We're working out the bugs now but it drives around and seems to work OK.
