Sorry for boring you guys with these eagle shots, but I have a blast getting these shots. Water was going strong all day and it made for some intense action. Tried a bit of a different frame this time.

The eagle in the next shot caught a fish and landed right above out heads, less than 30 feet away. I took that shot with the D3 and 300 2.8 without the 2.0 TC. The others were with the D3, 300 2.8, and the TC20E II.

Holy ****, that was my response when I saw number 2. I gotta go down there sometime. Maybe Wed I will take a trip down to the Dam. I don't have a teleconverter yet though, and I'm flat broke. Incredible shots.

I have sold quite a few of my eagle shots. I bought a few into the store I where buy my bird seed/feeders at and showed them to the owner. They allowed me to hang a framed print on the wall and I have my card on it.

Thanks for all the nice comments folks. This is truly an awesome place to check out if you have the chance (and glass).

I'm working on it. lol. My next ridiculous purchase is going to be the 400mm. Until then, I'll have to settle with my POS 80-200 w/2X teleconverter.

Your pictures are insane. Awesome stuff.

I love how the ridge over the eyes on the birds makes them look so angry.
