Well. As some of you may know, my car went to the crapper. It needed $400 in repairs and what not, and still needs more. So just last night I was told to finance a car, sell mine, etc. WELL. Then today, I was at work, doing my filing/e-mailing, business as usual and BAM. Intercom "Julia, can you come downstairs for a sec?" Okie, cool. Well then came the "Uhh.. I'm really sorry to have to do this.." Yeah. Well, you can probably figure it out. They're laying off other people too. People that have been there for way more years than me. I was only there 6 months. It wasn't due to lack of performance or whatever, just simply money. They were nice about it, really apologetic. I thought my one boss was going to cry. But... So yeah, the bug has come to bite me in the ass. Not even a nice bite. But like a big, chunk of my butt is now gone.

So. Yeah. On top of now needing to find a car, needing to buy Christmas presents.. I now have no job in which to do so with. On top of other stuff like one of my family members dying of metastatic cancer. This only further proves my point that there is no such thing as god... and if there is, he is a cruel, cold-hearted jerk.

Basically, life just bent me over a table and rammed it to me.

Sorry, just needed to vent.

Can you at least get unemployment for now?

Go take your dogs for a nice long walk!

They said I can file for unemployment and whenever I go to get a new job, they said they'd do whatever they could to help.. write recommendation letters and what not.

fortunately it isn't too difficult to find a job filing. how much are you looking to get paid? try some placement/temp agencies.

u can try gettin a job sellin xm and sirus radio. all u basically do is talk on the phone with ppl who bought cars that had that feature for a certain amount of months. tryin to hav them buy the service.
