Navigation Systems - Need ideas for Christmas Present

**This is kinda automotive, so I put it in this section, if deemed non-auto, please move.

My pops wants a Navigation System for Christmas, so I obliged. However, I don't know **** about **** when it comes to these things, so maybe someone could lend me some knowledge.

I'm looking at the $100-200 range.

Needs to be fairly functional/intuitive, as my dad is not the most tech-savvy person ever.

Needs to have a fairly large screen/buttons because he is the brute-force type so he just presses everywhere until what he wants happens.

Garmin/TomTom/etc, i don't care about brand as long as it's reliable and works well.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I got my dad a Megallen last year as a gift. He had a Tom-Tom before that, and wound up sending it back to the store he got it, since he was having an issue understanding how to use it (My dad isnt the most tech-savvy either).

Here is the one I had bought for him:
Magellan Maestro 4200

Magellan MSRP is around $190.

My boyfriend has a Garmin Nuvi .. 350 or 360 or whatever. It's been discontinued, but it's an excellent product. I think the 255 is now the most similar to what he uses:

https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=134&pID=13428

^^ You can get it for $185 shipped on Amazon.com.

One major suggestion -- make SURE you get a navigation system that gives you voice prompts WITH STREET NAMES. I borrowed a navi system from a friend that didn't, and it so SO aggravating. It'll just say, "Turn!" And you're like -- on which ****ing road?!

I've used both Magellan and Garmin units and the Garmin units are much better as far as the processor and the touch screen sensitivity. On the Magellans, I've had to hit the screen twice numerous times and/or push harder.
