I would have never thought of using cards to mask the area off. That is pretty cool.

The Steelies where all rusty and looked really bad. So I wanted to paint them. But then I wanted something that would stand out. so I went with bright orange.

Man... what have I started around here with painting steelies.

Looks good though, you should've thrown some clearcoat on them while you were at it.

I had some kids give me props at Wawa on 309 the other night, they thought they were powdercoated.

I told them I rattlecanned them, and their jaws dropped.

I didn't know anyone else painted steelies. do you have any pictures of yours? I didn't clear them because the wife was making me keep the cost down. They looked really bad before I painted them though.

I actually didn't clear mine, but since I used automotive spraypaint, they're semi-gloss.
