We are in the process of moving into a new townhouse and we cant have any pets at the new residence. The cat has to go, which i dont really have a huge problem with, but the significant other is pretty torn up about it.

We looked into getting him into a no-kill shelter, but as you may or may not know, they have a waiting list. Bah.

Anyhow, heres the scoop...

His name is Fido, he is about 4 1/2 yrs old. He is very lovable and likes to hang out when you want him around and when you dont want to be bothered, he has no problem chilling out on his own. He is neutered and has all his shots.

He has been a very loyal pet, and has caused us zero problems since we have had him......doesnt puke, rub his ass on the floor, cough up hairballs, etc. It would just be nice to see him get a good home, he doesnt deserve to be turned into a tube of super glue, haha.

If anybody is interested in giving him a good home it would be greatly appreciated. There is of course no cost to you, just a good home. The only downside if any, is that he will be skiddish and scared for a little while until he figures out his surroundings which is completely normal, but trust me, he will come around and enjoy all the attention you can throw at him.

I know that many people arent fond of cats, im not really a huge fan, so please keep all negative comments to yourself. Please reply only if you are serious.

I know its a long shot, but I figured there is a chance that somebody on here would be interested in a good pet. Thanks.

I'd take him but my Dad hates cats. BTW the container of super glue comment was just plain messed up haha.

I'd love to adopt him...I just have to talk to my boyfriend because he's slightly allergic to them. Do you know if he's going to be freaked out by a dog? I have a four year old pug that wouldn't hurt a fly.

Hmmmm, thats a tough call. Ive seen him around a dog before and he tends to avoid them. Given time to warm up to your dog though, i think they would get along once they have time to feel each other out. Lemme know.

why don't you keep looking for a pet friendly place?

and a townhome? don't people normally buy them, not rent?

I'd never buy a place that wouldn't allow me to do what i wanted with the interior... ie: have pets...

you could also sneak the cat in. i'm positive you're not the only person in the development that would be doing that...

We already have the place. The guy that owns it had to move out of state due to business, he doesnt want to sell, so we are renting it. The place is really really nice and its just something we couldnt pass up.

So...whats done is done.

You allready know me and the girl would take it if we were in Jersey, but thats just not the case. I've been looking for a freind for our other cat.

If you want to give him a nice country home he can come hang out with us in the Poconos. He'll have another cat (20lbs Maine Coon) and two dogs (Great Dane & Black Lab) as company. We have a large house and the dogs stay down on the first floor. If you think he might want to adopt us, shoot me a reply and we can make arrangements.
