Not only are the new mustangs slow (in stock form), they are also ugly. I would take an SRT4 over a new mustang any day of the week.

Comparing a stock saleen to my car though??? LOL

You do realize that my car BONESTOCK ran faster than that saleen ever could (in stock form), right????

And don't make me post the srt4 vs mustang vid if you want to play that game

nm i thought it was ALL mustangs that owned srt-4's, not just yours in particular.

interesting note is the total price of that srt-4 is around $25,000 as equipped.

It was a misprint(and the dealer probably raped themselves), but now you can buy 03/4 cobras all day long for 24 grand.

that mustang is supercharged, not stock.

and i dont see the point of my car vs. yours. yours is clearly faster and ive said that multiple times. ive never even claimed to have much done to mine or to have one of the faster srt's.. i dont. its a stock car with basically a single power upgrade and some suspension stuff that can run well into the 13's.. thats about all i need or want at the moment. personally id rather put money towards paying off my student loans , car, and saving for a house than to have the fastest car evAr.

even though .. the whole point of this is just that you can make an srt very fast for around $4,000.

yeah thats an awesome deal. but you and i both know that doesnt mean its a 24,000 dollar car.

and when youre comparing bang for the buck, you typically cant compare used prices because that opens a whole new can of worms. theyre def. worthwhile cars for 24 grand but this bang for the buck discussion, in my eyes, was always centered around a new car.

and i didnt know they only ran 13's

btw, for the record the srt doesnt have "all kinds of work". it has the mopar stage 3 and probably exhaust. stage 3 is a pcm, turbo, injectors, sensors, and fuel pump. i think i got it all listed.

oh well.. no biggie. cobras rule. now you have my blessing to wank yourself to sleep and stop being so bitter over these pesky neons.
