I'm located near levittown pa , pm me a price and time/date I can get it done. I only have 4 more days and the holidays are coming I don't need any tickets.

BUMP!!!! took the car to get inspected and it failed. can anyone help me? the exhaust leaks right before the cat.

yea there is no CEL's, no electrical problems or mechanical problems, just this leaking exhaust that i guess im going to have to fix, i wanted to wait a few weeks to see if i sell it but i guess i dont have a chose. Car is OBD1 too.

there's gotta be somewhere that'll overlook that.... not that it's legal but some places just don't care.

go to a quick lube place or pep boys or something where the people just really don't care about their jobs.

you have to watch out who looks at it too, because a lot of those people look for everything wrong just to make a $$$

idkwhere you went but STS is usually cool about most things. theyve hooked me up when i had problems with my integra before

just so you know, its not about a tech who "wants to make all the $$$". If you pass a car that should fail and there is a state referee spying on you or a state referee gets a hold of the car....you loose your inspection license. no bueno.

yea right next to blinds to go. all my problems hes helped me out for cheap. and they have a few lifts so they usually get to it that day

i failed for an exhaust leak in the same place. they told me to just get some muffler tape, wrap it pretty good, then take it off when i got home after inspection. they said it passed lol so maybe you can try that out

also you can use the high temp copper RTV. seriously just cake it on and all around the leaking flange. you dont even have to loosen a bolt

JBweld patched up a leak on my muffler once also. Im sure you can find a resolution for this that wont cost more than 10 bucks.

you can use whatever you want to fix the pipes, just can not repair a muffler. so cut a beer can in half and hose clamp it on.
